Serbia, Kingdom. An Order of St. Sava, Knight, French Made, c.1914 Newly Listed possibly because it was adopted(Orden Svetog Save). Instituted in 1883. Type II. In silver, a finely executed example, of French manufacture, likely Bertrand, a Maltese cross in white and blue enamels with ball finials, small double headed crowned eagles with shields in each quadrant, the obverse medallion shows distinctive iconography of St. Sava in red robes, surrounded by inscription in blue enamel, reverse oval centerpiece shows date 1883 within a blue enamelled outer circlet
