This is a genuine Federal issue leather cartridge box is the Pattern 1861 pattern . 58 Caliber. Outer flap has light surface wear with a latch tab that is attached by straight line stitching. Interior flap is in very good condition and is complete with both ears. Neither tin are is present but the implement pocket is in good shape but the flap has separated. Bottom has one of two roller buckles. Reverse of the box
