It is maker marked on the underside of the pin with Prsidialkanzlei des Fhrers Lieferant (Presidential Chancellery Supplier) number 20, which represents C. F. Zimmermann of Pforzheim. It is also marked with LDO number L 52 on closer to the hinge on the back of the pin,
