United States. A Vietnam War Bronze Star To Ran Van Tot consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac silver with white enamelsInstituted February 9, 1944. In bronze gilt, full size, reverse engraved VAN TOT, worn on original ribbon with slot style brooch on reverse, contact marks evident, residue on reverse, remains in very fine condition. Footnote: Ran Van Tot was recommended for a Bronze Star on May 19, 1970, which was awarded to him on June 20, 1970 for services rendered during the Vietnam War.
