Original British First Anglo-Burmese War Era 1822 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword & Scabbard with George IV Royal Cypher U.S. Marines USMC F L P 4 /Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely example of a British George IV Era (1820 1830) Pattern 1822 Officer's Sword. The sword is very nice, and has an upmarket brass Pattern 1822 hilt, with a wooden sharkskin wrapped grip bound with twisted wire. There is some wear to the sharkskin, and the guard is a bit loose, but overall it's a very nice hilt. There is a very attractive CROWN GR IV Royal Cypher on the top of the guard. It even has a
