A Rare Postschutz Official’s Dagger, by Paul Weyersberg consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac each perforated with ventilation holes(Postschutz Dolch fr Fhrer). A well preserved Postschutz officials dagger, measuring 40 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 24. 5 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains factory original sharpening to both the edges and tip. The reverse ricasso bears a makers mark of PAUL WEYERSBERG, SOLINGEN, circumscribing the firms classic wreathed sword logo, indicating manufacture by the sole confirmed producer of
