This is a very nice WWI Imperial German Model 1889 Infantry Officer sword and scabbard, made by Pack, Ohliger & Co. GmbH of Solingen, offered in good condition. The D shape fold away guard with the Imperial German eagle of Kaiser Wilhelm II has a black finish to it. The grip is brass wire bound over a celluloid base, with a brass cypher of the Kaiser in the center. The celluloid is in excellent shape. This model of
